My sister is going to be 30 on Tuesday, and she's SOO difficult to buy for, she's a typical, modern, independent woman, and if there's something she wants, she buys it, which means she's so hard to buy for! She's outdoorsy, loves surfing, likes music (but I don't know of any CDs she wants) she reads, but she's not mentioned any books that she wants. 30 is a landmark birthday, and all of her friends are away at the time, none of them will be here to celebrate with her, so I really want to do as much as I can.. I've got a key from her housemate and I'm going to go and decorate the house on Tuesday, I've ordered a cake and bought her some wine, but what should I buy her? I was thinking, maybe a spa day, or a massage treatment, I'm not sure? I really want to go all out, she's been like my mum (I'm 15, my mum was ill when I was younger) and I want to make her feel special because she's been really down at the moment... Thanks xx

How about a dinner for 2 and a spa day. Then a gift card to favorite store or pub or movie house. What is fun also is buying a goofy gift like a plastic water gun. A coloring book or a barbie. Just use your imagination. Have fun. What time should I be there?

She is single, no children, great person. She's semi spiritual and loves theater, dinning out. Young at heart! Beautiful lady and a good friend of mine who I have worked with for 13 yrs.

Invite her to join you for a night out dinner and go to the theater.

Give her an experience:
Cooking class
Art class
Hot Air balloon ride

Think is she ever mentions "I love going to that place" or "I have always thought about going ... but didn't want to go alone"
