Please suggest a birthday gift idea for my wife's birthday?

When is the Birthday?
4 days from today

What are my current plans for the birthday?
Currently I am planning for a quick lunch other than greeting card and flowers. But this is the usual every year.

The constraints being:
1) we have a 2 month young baby (first kid) so wifey prefers not to be out of home for more than an hour or two (so that she can feed the baby when required at home)
2) generally I do not like the idea of beauty packages like manicure/pedicure/et al. But she does love it!

First get a babysitter, then go to a nice dinner, go home to give baby a feeding, head back out for a movie & then back home & enjoy the rest of the night with eachother's company - a good, old-fashioned date for the birthday girl & new parents, but allowing time for the precious baby to be feed....good luck & enjoy....

Any ideas for my homemade I.O.U gift certificates for 18 year old girl? (Please read!)?

I am going to make some homemade 'I.O.U' gift certificates for my younger sister, with things written on them such as 'day at the cinema' and '1 batch of cookies' so whenever she wants to she can hand me 1 to 'redeem' it. It is part of her birthday gift.

I really need lots more ideas other than the cinema and a batch of cookies, the more ideas the better! Please help me, I am stuck for ideas!

Well I'm not sure what exactly you're looking for so here are a couple of ideas

1. Day at the Spa: You give her a massage, pedi and mani or what ever you're able to do. Maybe a homemade natural facial?
2. Assistant for the Day: You're pretty much her slave for the day, so you can do her laundry, etc.
3. Get out of Jail Free Card: She can use it whenever she gets you really upset.
4. Breakfast in Bed
5. Chores: You do whichever chore she has to do
6. One home cooked dinner with dessert
7. One Saturday night on the town with Free chauffeur service
8. Half an Hour of relaxing foot massage after a particularly grueling day
9. A Luxurious bubble bath
10. One carwash with a promise to fill up the gas tank - Totally Free
11. One free offer of returning your library books/DVDs.
12. A night of playing your favorite game.
13. One quick trip to the store when you are out of aspirin. Or midol. Or tampons.
14. Get the blame for something she did
15. Side with her when she's completely wrong and fight her battle
