Birthday gift ideas for boyfriend?

My boyfriend is a serious cyclist and it's a huge passion of his. He just got a brand new carbon fiber road bike and loves to work on bikes for upgrades and repair. I know any gift revolving around this passion of his would be perfect, but the problem is I don't know too much about it. He has a lot of tools, but has mentioned that he doesn't have them all, so I thought about doing that but didn't want to be too obvious with asking what he needs, haha. He's got plenty of water bottles (which I've gotten him over the years) and last Christmas I got him the carbon fiber water bottle holder he wanted. So any suggestions would be awesome! I thought about putting a little basket or something together full of biking equipment (like tubes, energy bars, etc.), so ideas for that would be great! He's mentioned briefly wanting to update his biking computer, but is that something he'd most likely want to pick out for himself?

Oh, and I really don't want to do giftcards as that feels too impersonal for a serious relationship (in our 20s, going on 3 years)
I did already get him a bike repair kit last year, and I'm pretty sure he has a torque wrench, but I'll sneakily find out. I am getting him other things, don't worry! I just thought he'd really like something like this. Keep the great ideas coming guys, thank you! :) I just stumbled upon some cool recycled bike items for other uses, such as a clock, so ideas like that would also be cool!

Homestuck gift ideas?

I need to make a Christmas gift for my friend, and I'd like to make it homestuck themed! I would buy from whatpumpkin, but there is not enough time for delivery I would love some ideas :)

I made my Moirail a plush of Vriska because she roleplays, voice acts, and cosplays as her. There are Scalemate and Smuppet tutorials online if you can sew and would like to make one. I guess the gift mainly depends on their favorite character. An idea I seriously just thought of now would be to make a scrapbook of photos of you two together (if you live near each other and have photos) and decorate the scrapbook to look like the tome book http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=005997 (and 5996 for the inside), If your friend is also your "Moirail", you could make a pair of diamond charmed necklaces like those BFF necklaces you hook together. My friend got me Faygo for my birthday (I'm not a juggalo nor a Gamzee cosplayer she just thought it was cool)
I guess it just depends on your craft abilities and the kind of things/characters they like. You could always decorate something with homestuck symbols that they could use like a jewelry box, tote bag, or something like that.
