Josie B.
My boyfriend of 7 months is turning 18 in a little less than a month and I'm a little stumped on what to get him. I'm on a small budget because I am younger than him being only 16. He is really into qwods and three-wheelers and is going to get his license on his birthday. I was thinking about getting him a few small gifts such as a key chain with a picture of us( for his new keys to his car) and maybe a nice picture of us framed. Is that good? I'm worried that's not things a 18 year old boy would like. We already have sex everyday so please don't say birthday sex. Any thoughts or ideas?

I'm getting my boyfriend a watch for his birthday,it is a nice black one that I think he will like. If you want to go for something more personal,a picture is a nice idea, for our 6 month aniversary i am planning to get him a picture of us for his new uni dorm room :)
I hope it goes well x

It really depends on your budget and his interests. Memorable gifts are often some of the best - doing something together can be a lot of fun, such as:
Go mini golfing as a family - gift him with some trick golfballs (the exploding sort).
Go watch the car racing - could get him some of his favourite Ford merchandise (or other favourite)
Go to the beach/park/mountains together (go for a hike, take a picnic, etc) - if choosing this option you could also get him some good quality hiking gear, a fishing vest, or a hikers water bottle holder.
Go ice skating together and a nice dinner afterwards.
Go for a bike ride and surprise him with his gift when you get to a planned picnic location.
Go to a theme park for the day.
As far as gifts to wrap, here are a few ideas:
Make a photo book of his growing up years and encourage him as he's stepping into manhood with encouraging advice and helpful tips.
Share stories of your growing up years and what it was like for you at this crucial age - what would you have done differently, what advice would you pass onto him, what were some of the joys of that season of your life?
Hopefully some of these ideas have been helpful and it's a very special day for your family!
