Women of the upper classes mixed freely in society, and would go out to parties, banquets, visiting friends etc. Women of all classes might go to the theatre or to the chariot races and gladiatorial contests.
Upper class Roman women were generally well educated, and might take pleasure in reading books, in writing, and in making music.
Women would also enjoy going to the public baths. Some of the larger baths had seperate sections for men and women, otherwise women would normally go in the mornings, and men in the afternoons.
Roman women participated in private religious cults, which might have been pleasurable.
There were festivals and holidays when everyone would have a good time. Saturnalia, at midwinter, was a festival when everyone went to parties, feasted, and exchanged gifts.
The Lupercalia, in February, was a festival associated with fertility. Young men would run through the streets of Rome whipping any women with thongs of goatskin. This was supposed to promote fertility. Depending on their temperement, the women might have found this pleasurable.
In June there was a festival of Vesta in the Roman Forum, for eight days married women were allowed to enter the shrine to worship.
There were a great many other festivals during the course of the year, at which women probably enjoyed themselves as much as men did.
Although it is true that respectable Greek women were generally expected to stay at home (as a comment above states) they did go out to attend religious festivals, and to go to the theatre. Women played a very important part in some festivals, as in the Partheneia, for instance, when the birthday of the goddess Athena was celebrated in Athens. A new robe was woven for the great statue of Athena by young women of Athens, and was carried to the Parthenon in a great procession (freizes showing women participating in this activity can be seen in the British Museum in London).
