So my son will be turning 1 on May 28th.
I was wondering what everyone got theirs kids for their first birthday??
My son is small for his age. He is 9 months and only weighs 17lbs and is about 27 in long.
I really wanted to get him a bike, but I can not find one that he will even be able to touch the ground. Since his bday is in May I want to focus on more outside toys than inside.
Any ideas would help so much!!
*We are already planning on getting him a swing set.

My son will be 1 on may 25th! And he too is 17lbs 27"! I'm getting my son an inflatable ball pit. They sell them at walmart. That is all I'm getting though until after his party. We have a huge family so there will be about 40-50 people at his party which means a lot of gifts. So I'm waiting till after his party to see what he gets. We are limited on space so everyone elses gifts are still going to be more than what we can store. But I might get him a baby pool too. So yeah my advice is to judge on the party size to see how much to get him. :)

Good gifts/party ideas for my dad's 50th birthday?

Anyone have some ideas of what to get my dad for his 50th birthday? He's kinda the typical American dad lol, likes beer, football, power tools, etc.

As we get older we also have less energy. your dad may still seem macho but those muscles are aging faster and faster all the time.... the "more power" power tools and projects he has been use to doing will begin to get more difficult as his energy level decreases... however, I do believe the more active he is the more vibrant he will be, so...... what about the Dremel tools....you could start him into new project that are less strenuous on the body but are great for keeping him active and mentally keen.
Dremel makes a rotary tool that is GREAT! and with attachments such as the Workstation which makes your rotary tool into a small drill press or the plunge router attachment and the shapper router table, he will not only get years of working satisfaction but he may find he loves creating items for his own family to have, made with his own hands...... LOL but thats just my idea...Good Luck! TJL/ALS
