My daughter's birthday is in a few days and I was just wondering what other moms have done for their kids. Or if any of you have seen other interesting games or presents or decorations. Thanks :)

I have only done this twice. For my daughter's 1st birthday I spent way too much money on food and stressed out over gift bags and entertainment for the kids. The 2nd birthday, we went to an indoor play area where I only had to pay $5 per kid, I bought 2 large (high quality) pizzas, some juice boxes, a great cake, and called it a day. They had a ball. The 1 year old kids even had fun.
Take it easy, that's my advice.

Gonna put up a tent, have a quickie-pool, but a little short on cash, and i want to make it as special as she is. We have already planted Impatiens in cute little pots for "door prizes" but I really need some ideas for games and stuff.

10 years old girls love Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montana and other disney artists. Best bet is to buy a disney album and play that so the girls can dance and chill out. Music helps set a positive mood. Don't get any music with dirty lyrics, thats why it safe to go with disney pop music
Food:
Bake cupcakes with cute frosting for the girls
Games:
-Make a treasure hunt, so they can have a break from the pool.
-Water balloon fights
-egg toss
-Truth or Dare (Make sure they keep age appropriate though, no dirty dares)
-Makeovers, if they are girly girls (They can paint nails and do hair, maybe no make up though)
-Musical statues
-Twister
-Dance competition
-Musical Chairs
-Board Games
-Get an inflatable Water Slide thing

-Candy
-Limited Too Gift Card
-Lip Gloss
-Hair accessories
