zebra birthday gift ideas image

I am having a zebra print themed party for my little girls' birthday in a month or so, and I want to make zebra cupcakes or a zebra cake. I cannot afford to buy an expensive one. Any ideas? I heard fondant is hard to work with and expensive.

Cupcakes are everywhere, from church bake sales, to birthday parties, to swanky weddings. And although they're usually found dressed in those ubiquitous faded pastel cupcake liners, Sutton Gourmet Paper aims to give them a makeover with its collection of paper cupcake liners. The four designs are inspired by vintage fabrics and include zebra prints in hot pink/white or chocolate/white, damask in red/white or black/white, a scroll design in turquoise/red or turquoise/chocolate and a harlequin design in red/white or pink/green. The liners are made with high-quality paper that separates easily, and the designs won't fade in the oven like other liners. The liners come in sets of 50 and sell for less than $4. Zebra Print Bridal Shower Cupcakes
Cupcakes flavors were chocolate and vanilla with buttercream frosting. The zebra print was made with edible icing sheets and then cut individually and placed on buttercream icing. The cupcake stand was made with cake boards and cylinder boxes I bought at Micheal's as well as the zebra ribbon.

What should I get my (turning 13) year old for her birthday?

She already has an iPhone and cases. She plays volleyball, tumbling, and LAX and already has all the equipment. She loves to ride horses and performs in rodeos. She has everything for that and we got her a new bridle for Christmas. She has some makeup. She doesn't like getting clothes for her birthday. She is a laid back girl, she doesn't really need all the new fashion. Oh and she doesn't like gift cards- she always looses them. Any ideas? Thanks so much!
