Mum's Birthday Gift Ideas?

Its my Mum's 40th birthday in a few weeks and I am trying to think of presents that I could get her but Im not having any luck.

Could you give me some of your gift ideas please and if possible, what you have given to your mum for her birthday in the past few years?

Birthday gift ideas?

I'm blanking on what to get my girlfriend for her upcoming 21st birthday. She is not a typical girly girl, and isn't entirely about jewelry, and related type material. We've been together for just over two years, so if the time frame helps in any way use it. Basically wondering if there is any fun ideas for a 21 year old. Can't remeber much about my own 21st, so not sure if that would even help.

A nice digital camera. Every 21 year old I know has a facebook, blog, or myspace where they put up all kinds of photos.
