Birthday gift ideas (girls)?

My best friend is turning 13 and I had the idea of doing 13 different gifts like 1 note to read, 2 slideshows of pictures, 3 favorite pictures (in frames), etc. I have ideas for every number except 4, 7, 9, and 11. I want the 4th one to be something a little more expensive, and the 11th one to be somewhat cheap. Any ideas? Thanks(:

How about:

11 marbles (or pennies) in a small change purse
9 colored pencils (or colored markers)
7 bags/types of candy
4 books or magazines or music CDs or bracelets or colors of nail polish

Birthday gift ideas for a teenage girl?

The title pretty much explains it.
My best friend's 17th birthday is coming up and I am not creative when it comes to gift ideas.
I don't want to get anything really expensive like electronics, and I don't want to get her clothes, because they might not fit or be her taste.
So what are some ideas?
Relatively inexpensive, or even a bunch of little things put together.

If her ears are peirced you could get earings or lip gloss. Does she wear make-up you could get her make-up and maybe her favorite candy. nail polish. hair clips cute girly stickers. note books with gel pens and maybe necklaces or gift card to her favorite store. Or possible her favorite CD or movie. hope this helps(:
