I want to get her something really great because she goes out of her way to make everyone elses birthday special. But I only have $40. Btw I'm 16. I asked this question before and got some not so great ideas for gifts. So plz nothing to do with alcohol. I want to give her something she'd be able to keep forever and really like
any ideas. :)

What does she like to do for fun? You can get her some things for her hobbies. So if she likes to knit you could get her some yarn

CDs
Hair things
A bath set
Make up
Clothes
Jewelry
Things for her room. So maybe a poster for her wall or a blanket for her bed
Or you might try making her a gift
You can make a scrapbook of your time spent together. You would take construction paper and old photos you have. Glue the photos to the paper. Maybe put a couple of nice words under the photos. Than hole punch the ends of the paper and tie them with string. Or get a three ring binder and put them in there
You can make a memory box. This is where you take a cardboard box and decorate the outside of it. You can use paint. Than put flowers or puzzle peaces, buttons or photos on the outside of it. Than on the inside put things that remind you of your sister. So if she likes cookies you can put a cookie candle
You can make her a homemade picture frame. You take construction paper and cut it out in to a square. Than you glue something all long the outside of it. So you might do puzzle peaces or silk flowers or maybe buttons. Than you put a photo of the two of you inside it.
You can take a clay pot and paint the outside of it. Than put a plant inside and give that to her
Homemade cards go a long way. My sister still has all the ones I have made for her

What can i get my 17 year old sister for her birthday?

I can only spend $35.
We cant wear jewelry or makeup.
Shes real girly.
She doesn't have a car.
I have absolutely no idea what to get her!

Whenever it's someone's birthday, my mother and I go to Claire's. One time we took a makeup bag and filled it up with nail polish, nail files, and earrings. If your sister can't wear earrings, or if she can't use anything at Claire's, you can go to forever 21. If she likes Hollister, Aeropostale, or any of those stores, you can find some things that she may like. They have awesome clothes that your sister should really like. If you don't know what she would like there, Bath and Body works is never a no-no. Go there and get some lotions and hand sanitizers. You can also find out what her favorite store is and go there to get her a gift card. Or, you can never go wrong with getting her candies that she likes.
