What is a surprising and original way to give a gift to my girlfrinend for her birthday?

Her birthday is on 6/27 and my gift for her is a trip from Los Angeles to Florida on 7/15 - 7/20.

I dont want to just tell her, "your birthday gift is a trip to florida."

I would like to make it more fun, and special for her to learn about her tirp-gift. Any ideas or suggestions? She'll be 31.

Pretty simple.

Just buy her something else and take her out to some dinner somewhere.

Then before you tell her that she's going to Florida, tell her the thing you gave her was only part one of her birthday surprises.

My friend's son is turning 16 this week and I have no idea what to get him. My kids are much younger so I am not sure what is an appropriate gift for a teenage boy. Also, I wanted to keep it under $30 if possible.
