What are some good birthday present ideas for a hard working dad?

My dad's birthday is coming up. I was hoping to get some ideas for a good gift idea that will make him feel special. I was thinking a new hard drive for his computer to speed it up, but would like to get something more personal. Thank you for your help.

you can get him something to wear...watch would be nice..can compile or buy some of his favourite music..can get him a gift basket with chocolates, flowers, cake and some personalised mugs which have the picture of two of you..make him a scrapbook with some or most of your pictures..perfumes maybe.

Today I am going shopping for my roommates birthday gift. I have no idea what to get her. She is turning 22. I'm getting her a scent diffuser, but I want to get her something else that's not too expensive because I don't have too much money. Any suggestions?
